Oh dear, is that an excuse? Tit for tat?

Well it is hardly tit for tat not being directed at Germany. Let us say they put great stock in not being subjected to attack. What Israel does is far too above and beyond.... but the hopes of the left for Palestine, are a pipe dream.

If the pipe dream wouldn't come true there will be no peace in Middle East, definitely.

You think Israel would give up territory from the river to the sea?

They would rather, well I doubt it could be imagined.

Israel can't stay alone, not without US. So, there will be a solution once, since there is not endless Money in US to throw into Israel? And, for what?

I assure you, Israel would be prepared to go it alone. As a nuclear power that would be worrying. And who is going to attack them, the Arabs? They have not the stomach nor the unity.

Well, I think you should change your view. The situation at present: US defeated, Iran strong to defend the Street of Hormuz, Huthis still there.

US has to save their military equipment, just in case Xi would use the momentum to invade Taiwan or Putin would attack a NATO country.

So it's a lame duck while Iran will finish their nuclear bomb deep under the mountains, supported by China, Russia and the rocket man in NK.

And the Israel has to do what? Pease talks, respect Palestine as an independent state. Otherwise Iran will talk in a certain language.

Is The UN Biased Against Israel?

In 1998, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan admitted that the UN behavior gives an impression of bias. “It sometimes seems as if the United Nations serves all the world’s people but one: the Jews,” he stated

He continued, “I know that the United Nations is regarded by many as biased against the State of Israel…I know that Israelis see hypocrisy and double standards in the intense scrutiny given to some of its actions, while other situations fail to elicit the world’s outrage and condemnations. I know that Israelis are offended when other nations’ delegates leave the room as Israelis rise to speak.”

The UN response to the October 7 attacks has reinforced this perception.

Yes, perception. I thought you were an independent thinker?

You share the UN bias so you knee jerk deny it

Do you count the U.N. and Amnesty as credible sources?

I asked Google A1, "Did Palestinian civilians take part in the attacks on Israel on Oct 7, 2023?"

Below is some of what came in answer. I don't want to run afoul of board rules by quoting too heavily from AI.

"Yes. International investigations and media reports confirmed that some Palestinian civilians from Gaza crossed the border and took part in the October 7, 2023, attacks alongside members of Hamas and other armed groups.

Official Findings and Reports

  • The United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry concluded in its reports that not only members of Hamas's military wing and other armed groups took part, but also individual Palestinian civilians who directly participated in the hostilities.

  • The UN inquiry found that these civilian participants engaged in killings, mistreatment, looting, and hostage-taking in southern Israeli communities."

In its report from December, 2025 (Israel/Occupied Palestinian Territory: Targeting Civilians: Murder, Hostage-Taking and Other Violations by Palestinian Armed Groups in Israel and Gaza). Amnesty says in its Conclusion (section 10.1, p. 167) that Hamas and other armed groups were responsible for most of the violence on Oct. 7, but "unaffiliated Palestinian civilians from Gaza in some instances ... were responsible to a lesser extent."

https://www.amnesty.org/en/documents/mde15/0282/2025/en/

Basically, what happened is that Hamas put out a call for civilians to take part in the attack and once the border was breached, the civilians streamed into Israel mainly to loot and kidnap hostages for ransom, but also to kill. The Palestinian shown in a video attempting to behead a Thai agricultural worker is thought to have been a Palestinian civilian.

Well you prove my point exactly. Some locals near the border joined in. Hamas isn’t universally rejected in Gaza, in fact it’s where their supporters come from.

But my point is that not ALL civilians joined in, in fact far from it. And yet the Israeli military has literally raised to the ground umpteen square miles of Gaza territory ( I don’t know the exact size of the territory that’s been occupied). So the majority have had their lives decimated because of the actions of a few. All I ask is whether it’s proportionate and whether the impact on the lives of civilians was taken into consideration at all when executing military operations.

And finally, what is the bet that Israeli military actions have added to likely recruits for Hamas? Israel have literally played into Hamas hands.

Instead of having the world on the side of Israel after a truly dreadful massacre and using that to target Hamas specifically, a ten times bigger massacre has been carried out by Israel and as a result world opinion is now split. And Hamas is still there and has even more fertile ground to gain more recruits.

Most of that is nonsense, I can't even understand the last sentence. Israel has proven capable of defending itself in the past, and is ready to do so again. Iran is a paper tiger, heck even Afghanistan held the USA off. Palestine has never yet existed so it is optimistic to presume Israel will move out and let them pour in from Gaza and the West Bank. Now don't think I support what Israel does, too many innocent lives being lost.

When are you expecting this great shift in power in the Middle East? I hear the POTUS threatening to bomb Iran and resolve the problem that wasn't there until they interfered on the TV right now! There has never been a Palestine, there will not be in my lifetime, which admittedly is not that much longer. The blustering and posturing of Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah etc don't seem to scare Israel, mostly incite them to remove a few more of their leaders with impunity.

The name and geographic concept of Palestine has existed for over 3,000 years, evolving from ancient Mediterranean terminology into a distinct regional, administrative, and national identity. (AI)

You don't realize the reality: the time of America as the world's leader is over. Over. China is not to stop, the days of an independent Taiwan is countable. Europe will find an arrangement with Russia. And will have to deal with China vice versa.. Iran will have the nuclear bomb soon and the threats by Israel will stop. America will be a bystander incapable to support Israel.

And Israel was promised to the Jews by God....You are carping on about ancient times, possibly pre-dating the Jews, and there has been zero evolving where Palestine is concerned. You can have your pipe dreams though,,, again when will all this happen?

You asked for extra lessons about Palestine since it was evident that you don't know anything.

These are facts of history.

Btw, God is not a fact, just imagination, no scientific background

Bravo. Israel does have a few blatantly racist members in government - true - but they represent a very small percentage of the population. The grand majority of Israelis do not support genocide nor has Israel ever attempted one - Gaza has over 2 million people, the death toll over almost 3 years is 70,000. A lot - but not a genocide.

It's only fitting that Israel will likely get a new government this coming October after the elections. The current government is unlikely to get re-elected.

AI would definitely disagee with that, as almost half the voter, voted for the present govt.

Also seems, the majority support the ongoing slaughter of their neighbors for a good land grab ...

Am I anti semetic (wrong use of, but I'll bite) ... NO

Do I hate the Iraeli govt & those that support the expansion Zionist ... HELL YEA, and hope they die a horrible death.

Killing people, anyone, any religion or race to steal their land & homes is just wrong, and they deserve the same.

If the govt decisions and killings reflect badly on tourist while in other countries, oh well, live with your countries politics. Remember, you are a representative of your country.

Well, if you throw half of your arsenal of missiles and bombs on Iran (without any reason) and the Street of Hormuz is still blocked.....,you will call it a victory

Decimating their military is a military victory. Things ending with no nuclear weapon capability, Iran's citizens able to speak without fear of death, the Strait opened so everyone can use it, and prices returning to normal would be a victory for everyone. Those missiles and bombs were used for a reason, although Iran isn't going to surrender just yet, and thinking anyone here knows how much munitions the US has stored is laughable.

I'm convinced they want to and will get them all out og Gaza, the West Bank and part of Lebanon.

But they have to do it gradually in order to stay accepted around the world. Atm lots of condemnation but no action from Western governments. Do it all now and Israel would stand alone.

The strait was open before this stupidly, prices were normal. This has forced Iran on the nuclear path and only fools believe it has anything to do with the Iranian citizens. Oh, and their military is far from decimated.

You have fallen for the US propaganda.

Yes, you are right, because the only the answer for peace in the part of the world is to find a new home to the Palestinians elsewhere in the world,

as they are not interested in peace and quiet and be a good neighbor, only the elimination by death and destruction of all jews and Israelis ( that they have openly declared many, many times) egged on and financed by outside forces, such as Qatar, Iran,Turkey and others , there isn't really other choice.
