Let me add onto that OP

You must live a privileged life to care about the middle east and ill just pull you down to earth a little bit. Most people dont have thay much time to think about stuff like this. We have our own lives and our own families. And the virtue signaling has gotten old real fast

What are you doing to stop ethnic cleansing?

... have you contacted your government representative to voice your opinion

... sent emails

... letters

... protested

... Contributed money to whatever organization supports the abused, the oppressed.

True democratic governments vote policy, representing the people that contact them ...

... if you don't contact them

I'll let Bush 2 and Obama know my feelings about their war mongering and I got audited by the IRS for it.

Done all of the above, as well as signed many petitions. Have you???

Get rid of Hamas and it will stop. If Israel wanted to remove the whole of Palestine they could but they don't, so stop this stupidity of referring to a genocide, it isnt.

  • Same reason we are doing nothing about the invasion of pink giraffes from Mars. It isn't happening.

  • Wait a minute, do you condone this settler violence, are you seriously saying that there are not over 790,000 Israelis living in illegal settlements in the West Bank? Are you seriously saying the BBC

Or if interest, would you ever stop supporting Israel?

For example if they took over Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan.

Israel should Annex the West bank and Gaza and take the border bits of Lebanon and Syria , say 10 kilometers in .

Then take 1 extra kilometer when there's missile attack

Stick to the subject .

Jews are living in Judea , the Muslim colonisers cannot keep the land for themselves, they have to share the land with Jews .

The operative word here is 'share', not 'steal'. 1948 borders were what was enough for each.

Nobody will boycott Israel as America has been funding and supporting Israel for decades.

There are all kinds of boycotts going on so you're wrong,.

However, Israel is not an easy nation to cleanly boycott.

It's one thing not stocking an Israeli brand of hummus.

It's another separating from on of the global leaders in medical, tech, and defense tech industries so very integrated globally.

Would you not want a life saving cure if it had some Israeli aspect to it?

Not as hard as separating from China but still quite hard and in most cases, not realistic or worth it.

Obviously. Gaza is/was a death cult society, every person born and raised to have it in their core to hate and kill every single Jew.

Not so sure Israelis are any different. Both sides are brainwashed by politicians running their own agenda. Fight terrorism with terrorism? What kind of solution is that?

There you do agan with your lies.

1948 was rejected by the entire Arab world and they went to war with Israeli over it.

Sure things could have been very different if they hadn't done that.

BUT THEY DID.

You have to be very stupid to equate Hamas and Israeli culture.

Something a Queers for Palestine moron would think.

In geopolitics you have the "cosmetic" boycots that are currently applied against Israel...just to calm down and to pretend something is done and very easily dodged. Like stopping to buy their oranges or nuts that is a joke.

And then you have the harder boycotts like those aimed at North Korea, Russia etc...that are more challenging to dodge...though still dodged...and that end up in harming the western nations as much as there is no more access to the deadly cheap russian oil and gas. At the end of the day putting out the russian competition on cheap oil, appeared to be the main reason for the sanctions imposed by Biden using the ukrainian war as en excuse.

Hell NO ... I'm all for it, and hope the finally kill each other. Stated a couple time, give Israel & Iran a couple nukes and tell them they have to use then. Sooner the better.

End this never-ending silliness once & for all. You don't really think I care about a bunch of idiots killing each other. I have no respect for either govt or the people that support them.

When i think of ethnic cleansing I think 1st of the replacement/genocide of white people(or gammons as the genociders call them) in England. Strangely this does not concern lefties who are obsessed with supposed genocide in far flung places but ignore(or flat out deny even in the face if demographic stats)the wholesale wiping out of tradional Brits.

Go figure

Pretty close. In 1947 the UN created Israel. Immediately the Arab countries declared war on them. The Israelis fought basically to a draw. Then again in 1967 they tried again. This time Israel kicked ass and gained a lot of new territory. Once more in 1973. Israel now occupies land that was lost by other countries in wars THEY started; all because the Arabs had a hard on for the newcomers. Is it fair? Maybe not, but that's why you don't start wars just because you're butt hurt about issues you can't control.

In October 2023, HAMAS, the government of Gaza, attacked unarmed Jewish teenagers and civilian settlements and butchered hundreds upon hundreds of people...taking many hostage. The damage in Gaza is a result of the stubborn refusal of HAMAS to return the hostages and continue to attack Israel; self-inflicted damage, as I see it. Halfway measures don't work against religious zealots, they simply use the time to rebuild and refit.

Then too, I'll mention that there is currently a coalition of middle eastern nations against Iran, which I suppose you could say is led by the US, but didn't take shape until well after the current hostilities began. Lastly, I'll just throw out that, although highly dependent upon mid-east oil, western European nations are nowhere to be found in this conflict.

Nope. Prior to 1948, the ratio of Palestinian terrorists to Jewish terrorists was miniscule. It is a fact that the British gave up on the Mandate due to Jewish terrorism.

The big mistake was other Arab nations influencing Palestine to reject partition. Maybe it would not have completely curtailed Jewish aggression. Perhaps there would not be peace but it would certainly be better than what Israel is doing now.

Israel is a paramilitary state. When every citizen has served in the IDF, there's no other way to describe it.

Yes, the Arab countries started war against Israel in 1948, never dreaming the new country could defeat them. Egypt, Transjordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon with support of Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Yemen.

However, the result--the Nakba--has nothing to do with this war. Displacing 80% of Palestinians, 3/4 of a million human beings, rendering them stateless, depopulating 500 villages--that's all on the lack of mercy shown by Israel right to this day.

This land grab has nothing to do with that convenient Oct 7th raid. Massad could have taken out Hamas leaders anytime then wanted. Isreal keeps them around for just another excuse to grab land.

Israel would be a good start. West Bank and Gaza are not Israel. Go home! But that's not the Zionist agenda is it? The agenda is to get rid of all Palestinians and keep the whole pie for themselves. The rest of the world is turning away from a warmonger Israel. Soon they won't have anybody to support them. No free weapons, nor free USD.

What's very sad about this is that it would never have become this had Israel played nice.

Don't give me the BS about Arab destruction of Israel. That's just rhetoric.

One of your "facts"

The real fact is :

Britain’s decision to abandon the Palestine Mandate was driven by a combination of severe post-war economic exhaustion, military overextension, intense international diplomacy, and intractable conflict between both Arab and Jewish populations

If Jews paid money for the land in Judea, you would have no qualms about them living in the land ?

Of course, that would be up to the Palestinian owners.

I think it would only be extremist religious Israelis who would say it is legal, under som law from God.

Then there are this many extremists. AI: A survey by the Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI) shows that 38% of Jewish Israelis support full annexation of the entire West Bank, while 37% of the overall Israeli public (including Arab respondents) supports full annexation. Public opinion remains divided, with roughly 30% to 35% favoring partitioning the territory instead.

They already partitioned Palestine, now they want to partition the little that's left. That's called theft anywhere else.

Jews are living in Judea , the Muslim colonisers cannot keep the land for themselves, they have to share the land with Jews .

They are not muslim colonisers.

They are mostly descendants of indigenous people and immigrants to the region who had converted to Islam.

There were Arabs in the region long before Islam arrived........Islam was itself a invention of South Arabian Arabs that was forced on other Arabs.

There were indigenous people, Jews that had converted to Christianity and Christian Arabs in Palestine before Islam arrived.

"Jews" were just another animistic/polytheistic, anonymous Canaanite clan before they migrated to Egypt in ancient times.......the Cannanites that did not migrate carried on as before.

The "Hebrews" (a corruption of an Egyptian derogaratory term for them) had become so foreign while they were away in Egypt that, when they got chucked out of Egypt and returned to Canaan, they had to fight and terrorise the indigenous population to, effectively, colonise it as foreign invaders, worshipping and acting on the orders of the monotheistic foreign god, with an invented mythological "history", that they had brewed up for themselves while they were away.

It happened again in the 20th century.

People that were mostly European coloured, socialised and cultured, and distinctly foreign, arrived as colonisers and behaved in exactly the same way.......in chronological order terror, war, ethnic cleansing.

Land grabbing is doing what the Jews have been doing for ages.. Even in the Middle Ages they were not wanted and now look what the Israelis re doing in Thailand.. It is the biggest group that is most negative in the news.. Jews don't care about anuthing or anybody except themselves..

Well, the facts are :

Israel launched the physical opening military action of the 1967 Six-Day War with a surprise preemptive air strike on Egypt on June 5, 1967. However, historians debate responsibility for the outbreak, noting it followed weeks of severe regional escalation, including Egypt's naval blockade of the Straits of Tiran, mobilization of troops, and expulsion of UN peacekeepers

Pre-emptive. That's always been Israel's military strategy, right up to Iran. At least this time, they had a partner willing to be the fall. guy.

Not quite right.

In that area lived 2/3 Arabs but they should have got only 45% of the land.

The Arabs favoured a ONE state solution, a Democratic state for all, Arabs And Jews.

Wrong again .

Arabs wanted one state solution called Palestine where Jews had limited rights . Unable to vote or whatever .

It wasnt a Democratic state for all

How can you support Israel after the Gaza genocide, Lebanon occupation. You're an American, wake up and see that Jewish billionaires are ruining your empire for their own selfish ends.
