Amazing North Fair 2007 is being held at Siam Paragon

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is organizing the Amazing North Fair 2007 at Siam Paragon Shopping Center in Bangkok, Thailand. 90 tourism operators from 17 northern provinces of Thailand are promoting northern tourism to both Thai and foreign tourists at the fair.

Tourism and Sports Minister Suwit Yodmanee (สุวิทย์ ยอดมณี) presided over the opening ceremony of the Amazing North Fair 2007 yesterday (August 31st). Here, many tourism-related products and services are being offered to the public at inexpensive prices such as reservations for hotels and resorts, tour agencies, airlines, golf and spa services as well as OTOP products from each northern province. Tour operators are trying to attract more tourists by discounting prices and using buy-1-and-get-1-free marketing strategy. In addition, tour operators are providing additional convenience for people who want to travel with their family members without specifying the traveling dates. People can take part in many different tourism activities and with prizes at the fair.

The Amazing North Fair 2007 will be held until tomorrow. Public members who are looking for a vacation up North are invited to this event.
