RETIREMENT EXTENSION and THAI ARRIVAL CARD- ADDRESS REPORTING JOMTIEN

Featured Replies

I live here on Retirement Extension and report 90 days address at Jomtien or if am away than complete Arrival card with my current address which is condo on rent. Am looking to do about 6 months here and little travelling for a month or two and than rest back in England. Question is when living Thailand for few months coming back before expiry of extension which address to put on Arrival card ( as I am looking to vacate condo when leaving for 5 to 6 months). Am going to come and stay in hotel in Pattaya Jomtien for 5 days or so , get new condo rental. Please advice, thanking in advance.

Just put the hotel address. Nobody is checking anything.

Any address.

As, you would be aware. It's no longer a TM6 arrival card.

You do TDAC online up to 3 days prior to arriving in Thailand.

Regarding the TDAC , I have been told that there are often arrival tourists who have failed to carry out completing the TDAC and have to do so at the arrivals area which causes them delays . i would like to know if the Thai Immigration give notice / advice to a tourist to complete the card , once a flight has been booked ?

Doubt it. The airline may have that type of reminder.

In any event you are aware of it so make sure it's completed prior to flight.

Immigration is of course not contacting tourists individually with advice but many airlines will ask on check in (maybe on booking) if you've done it. Any tourist who does the slightest bit of research on arrival procedures will find a ton of information but that does require a tiny bit of effort which many people don't bother to make.
