Water bottles

Featured Replies

Why are water bottles, you buy in Thailand, always filled to the brim? So you have to open them above a sink to prevent spilling water, on your clothes or on the floor

In the past I have visited factories in the west that filled of bottles, and it is a simple process with a sensor, which detects the exact amount neded.

Filling bottles is also a process that doesn't involve any human hands, for hygienic reasons of course.

This is a YouTube that shows the process from start to end.

Since I have never seen a soft drink bottle, filled to the brim but to the exact level, they obviously have that system here. And since drinking water is sold by the same companies that sell the soft drinks, why they aren't filled in the same way?

I only can think that all those bottles are dropped in a huge bath, then picked out by someone, who maybe has just returned from the loo, and who screws a bottle stopper on them and labels them.

Sounds very hygienic, isn't it?
