Significant improvements within Lazada

This happened to me a few times when they say OK they’re gonna send the refund back to my credit card at the bank and they say it’s gonna take the train amount of days when I check and I see the money is not in my account then they say I will send this proof so I go to my bank and get the bank month showing that I never received my refund one thing excited particular or do I order something canceled it within minutes than a week that I ordered the same exact thing a.k.a. I sent it back so I should’ve had two refunds in that month only one I received after sending them numerous emails with the proof they said Yep we see the proof that you’re right we didn’t send you the second one but according to our system we sent it and I explained to him what the bank told me that yeah they could send it but it doesn’t show into my account but I’m lying a whole story after two months of aggravation they just said they will give you credit for it and I instantly use the credit to purchase something else but the refund system when they issue a check you have to watch very carefully to see if it really went into your account TIT

Lazada has missed the boat, Shopee cheaper for majority of items

  • The biggest issue with both Lazada and Shopee is their very poor search engines. One can input a specific device, brand, or model number and get hundreds of unrelated results. Couple that with what ap

In fact I rejoiced too quickly, I had a refund outside the wallet because I had used my credit card... By paying by QR Pay, refunds are made via the wallet and you have to call them for the amount to be transferred. In terms of logistics, it's Flash Express, I no longer see Kerry which is by far the best service provider in B2C logistics.

Amazon's search engine uses "and" in it's algorithms while Lazada and AliExpress (and other Asian search engines) use "or".

This means when you do a search Amazon, the more keywords used, the narrower the search is focused, leaving you with fewer returns and more pertinent results.

But on Lazada or Ali, the more keywords used - the wider the search field as it decides you may be interested in ANY products that have ANY of your keywords in it.

As well, on Lazada, vendors will often have multiple "storefronts" selling the exact same things, with the exact same photos and descriptions but maybe slightly different prices.

The idea is to try and trick you into picking one of their "stores" because an item is 1 baht cheaper than the other 20 "vendors" selling the exact same item.

A few months ago I bought a Versa fitness watch charging cradle from one vendor and to make sure I didn't get the exact same thing, I ordered another one from a different vendor.

Then watched as both orders were literally "packed" and "shipped" at the exact same time and when they arrived, the address label show 2 different shop names - at the exact same address.

And a LOT of vendors scam their way into getting 5 star reviews - so that THEIR "store" pops up at the top of any searches.

And in many cases, they then list some items at a much higher price than everyone else selling the exact same item for.

In the hopes you'll see their listing and just click "buy now" instead of scrolling down to see if there are other options.

For example, I purchased a nice strong folding chair one time for around 700 baht.

A couple months later a friend of mine showed up at a gathering at a beach with the exact same chairs - except he'd paid 1,200 each !

I did a search and sure enough, the first returns were for the same chair at a much higher price than I paid - but if I scrolled down a few rows, there was the one I'd purchased at the lower price.

Another irritating scam is when they show an item you want at a low price, say an office chair, so you click the link and then find out that chair is 5 times the price - and the only item shown at the original low price is a foot stool.

And a LOT of vendors do that now. It's a scam to get you to click on their "store" and hope you'll just buy (whatever) from them instead of going back and searching more.

I've never had a problem doing refunds with Lazada. In fact, in some cased they've notified me that an order is being cancelled and my money refunded because the vendor couldn't supply the item or deliver it on time.

And on orders that have gone past their expected delivery date that weren't automatically cancelled, when I cancelled them the refund process was literally done immediately.

But of course if you used a credit card, it can take 3+ Business Days for the refund to appear on your account.

And I too have used Google to search for an item and added "Lazada" to the search field so the results will have some from various Lazada platforms (like the Philippines version) and you get a better idea of what keywords to use when searching Lazada (Thailand version) yourself.

It's not perfect, but it's quicker and less effort (and cost) than using Amazon for the same things (sometimes).

The good thing about Lazada is that you can return ordered products within seven days of receipt without giving any reason—provided, of course, that they are unused.

The downside is that Lazada is currently flooded with products from Chinese sellers peddling generic "Spirulina Chlorella tablets." When these products finally arrive from China after a long wait, the packaging looks decent at first glance—even featuring general information about spirulina and chlorella.

What you won't find, however, is:

*who is the manufacturer ?

*where is the place of production ?

*who is the seller ?

*no any indication of whether the products are approved or tested

Before LAZADA It was a guarantee that only products approved by the Thai FDA were offered. One could be certain that heavy metal levels and bacterial contamination were within the lowest permissible range. With these offers that lack any details, you don't even know what's actually inside or the level of contamination—after all, you can write anything on the packaging...

That's a shame... LAZADA's reply is that there's nothing they can do about it... Website hacked ?

But can order FDA certified :Spirulina Chlorella" tablets from FaYo Brand, maybe a bit more expensive.. but with the Best quality.. and that is what matters when it comes to high-quality cultivated algae. After all, they should detoxify the body and brain... not poison them.

Note: Located on Naklua Road Soi 31 in Pattaya is the health store run by "Siam Natural Health Products Co., Ltd.," where you can purchase high-quality Spirulina and Chlorella tablets in various package sizes, along with plenty of informational material. They also offer other Asian natural remedies, herbs, nutritional supplements, and alternative medicine products. The owner is a German naturopath.
