O Visa

Featured Replies

I will retry my questions from yesterday in another format.

I am originaly from England and under 50.

When I marry my Thai G/F will I be able to get a non O visa extension if she is paying tax and can support both of us.

I will change our current lts business over to her name?

I would be grateful for any inforamtion and if this is possible.

Many Thanks

Nick

The requirement is 40k monthly family income so if she makes that and has the required proof it will be possible. You can also obtain a two month extension of stay one time if required.

HI Lopburi,

Thanks for the quick response,

I assume that I must still leave the country to convert my business visa into an O?

I have heard that immigration will want to see tax payments on 40,000 for six months is this true?

Thanks

Nick

The requirement seems to be in flux. It was three months and then the last yearly paperwork. Believe safe only to say not less then three months worth. As this will be an extension of stay it should not matter what type of non immigrant visa you start with.
