Blindfolded Boy’s Motorcycle Ride Draws Safety Concerns Online

A Thai father has faced widespread criticism after filming his young son riding a motorcycle while blindfolded and claiming the boy possesses clairvoyant abilities. The footage shows the child driving for what his father described as roughly eight kilometres with his younger brother and father riding as passengers. During the video, the boy correctly identifies a number on a ping-pong ball and says he can see a blue pickup truck travelling behind them. Social media users questioned the safety and legality of the stunt, pointing to the blindfold, lack of helmets, number of passengers and the rider’s apparent age. A Thai social media influencer has since asked the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security to investigate the parents’ actions.
