Re Entry Visa Details

Featured Replies

Hello, I am going for a re entry visa tom and want to know as many details as possible.

I can't seem to get any from thier website

What hrs are they open?

What documents do I need and how long does it taks?

Cheers

My guess is Bangkok?

Your passport and 4x6cm photo, TM8 form and fee of 1,000 for single or 3,800 for multi entry as I recall. Not sure how long it will take - used to take about 2 hours but believe is faster now.

If you have Word you can download and fill out form here

Believe hours are 0830-1630

thanks,

so i dont need any copies off visa/passport?

so they dont have a massive lunch break like embassy's do :-)

Officially they remain open but from my experience there are not many around between 12-1300. It has been years since have done so would have copies just in case; although it is just across the street to get copies made.

Last year (October) I downloaded the form TM8 from this site:

http://www.immigration.go.th/

and submitted it via e-mail to [email protected]

and told them in the e-mail that I will collect the re-entry permit at this (time) on this (date). Once I got there (Suan Plu) no queue number was needed and I got the permit within 10 Minutes.

Only things needed were the filled in downloaded form with a photo, copy of e-mail sent to them and original passport.

I'm not sure if this e-mail service is still available since I can not get into the immigration.go.th web site right now (time outs).
