I've been told that the officials from BKK visit the local Amphur office only once a year so that you can transfer title over. Surely this can't be true?

I don't know if the land in question has a chanote or not. Can anyone shed any light on this with regards to land with and without a chanote?

Also how much does it cost to transfer it and is the cost per rai?

BKK officials have nothing to do with it from what I've seen.

If the land has a chanote it can be bought and sold as often as you like.
