You'd need a mechanic or a mechanic's skill and knowledge to attempt a brake job Pepe. Health is even more important than that. Enough said. :o

I disagree. My life is mine to decide what to do with it. I will take a doctors advise. Sometimes two. But the decision must remain with me!

Doctors, particularly in Asia, like to believe they are God, that they don't need to discuss the situation with the patient. In Europe Doctors have long understood that medicine for a large part is still guesswork and that there is usually more than one way to skin the cat, so to speak.

(I also am able to fix my brakes if need be, but I prefer to pay someone else to do it out of lazyness)

something I just picked up off the web.. The classic symptom of genital herpes is a cluster small fluid-filled blisters that break, forming painful sores that crust and heal over the course of several days. But some people get only a rash or small bumps on the skin that appear to be pimples. Some have painful urination and some women have fluid discharge from the vagina.

Sores may appear four to seven days after a person is first infected. There also may be flu-like symptoms, including fever and swollen lymph glands in the groin, following the initial infection.

Symptoms come and go with varying frequency and duration. One person may have an outbreak once a year, while another may have one every few weeks. Before a flare-up, there is often an itching, tingling, or burning sensation in the affected area, and sharp pains in the pelvis or down the leg. Herpes sores are usually worst the first time they appear. In later outbreaks the sores tend to be less painful and last for a shorter period of time.

The symptoms of genital herpes can affect any of the following places on the body:

* Penis

* Scrotum

* Vulva

* Vagina

* Anus

* Urethra

* Thighs

* Buttocks

However, many people with genital herpes never have symptoms, or they mistake them for another malady, such as:

* A vaginal yeast infection

* Jock itch

* Insect bites

* Hemorrhoids

* An ingrown hair

If you think you may have genital herpes, visit your doctor or a clinic to get tested. Check out Preparing for Your Doctor Visit to understand the type of information your healthcare provider may need.

I came upon this string a little late. ..but after reading all the responses, I remember a story a friend of mine told me. (true story)

..he told me that during a trip to cambodia, he developed a rash "down there". none of the doctors in cambodia could diagnosis his problem. he got scared so he traveled to other countries in southeast asia to find out what they thought was the problem.

nobody could tell him what his problem was. he went to thailand, philippines, singapore, even to taiwan.

guess how he found out the problem? ..he started surfing the internet in the hopes of finding the answer. lo, and behold, he discovered that he had an infection brought on by some microscopic mites that live just beneath your skin. the website prescribed some cream, and powder to apply to the area to kill the mites.

..it's been about 5 years now since he told me the story.
