How Do I Get To Floating Market From Pratunam

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

i need to know how can i go to floating market from pratunam.

Assuming you want to see the Saduak floating market. It's outside of BKK, Ratchaburi.

Are you staying in a hotel?

Then, book the tour, 600B or so and their bus will pick you up.

They know when the action happens (you may have to wake up 4am).

Or go to the Southern Bus terminal just down the road( Sai Thai Mai). There are many buses to Damnoen Saduak. There will be multiple spellings, it's kinda funny.

Thanx guys

There is a Floating Market very near Bangkok in Phra Phra Daeng. Best to hsve a car to get there tho. Go over Rama 9 bridge to Thonburi (Dao Kanong) exit to Suksawad Rd a,d do a U-turn under the bridge before going on Suksawad and go back to Ratburana Rd., turn left and then a U-turn at first chance and then just keep going on and on, pretty soon you will thing you are up-country and keep an eye out for signs. It is called a floating market but isn't really, but it is very nice to visit, have yet to see a farang there.

Alternate way to go is bus 140 from Victory Monument, after it gets off Rama 9 bridge get off at first stop and grab a taxi from there

From Pratunam to Chinatown use buses 73 or 159.

Be aware - the "floating market" in Phrapadaeng is only open on Saturdays and Sundays.
