Criminal Record Check

Featured Replies

Hi there

Im going to change schools so I have to do the vientiene run for my 3 month non B visa but

Ive been told they can ask for a criminal record check has anyone recently got a non B visa from Laos for a teaching position and been asked for a criminal record check letter?

This is my third time to Vientiene so far never been asked!

I can get a check but it takes at least 40 days to process back in the UK

Its called an Access check, costs ten quid, someone back home(family or friend) takes a copy of your passport plus something with last Known address on and within 40 days you have something back...

Thanks

Matt

Penang is no longer asking for this check, nor is KL. And you could get a multiple entry.

Thanks Fat bastard so Penang and Kl look like good places to start the visa malarkey off again but does anyone know about Laos?

If you have been sometime ( like a year ) in LOS you need a Thai Police clearance.
