Good idea if you want to board first. To me it is worth nothing even if the cost is close to nothing as well.

dont have a problem as they board children and old people 1st ,just take my daughter to the front of the queue :o

Why would you pay extra just to board first on a no-frills flight with free seating that is rarely, if ever, going to be full? Not to mention the fact that the flight is only an hour... would you pay extra to be allowed to board first on a bus to Pattaya (well, if it was half-empty and free seating I might...)

The people who pay for express seating will get there faster.

Dunno my parents used it recently - avoids the mass cattle call line that lines up long before the flight is ready to board. You can sit/relax then when called board immediately before children/disabled. Parents said the looks they got were classic - ready to kill em, but they were sitting in first seat with nice cold beverage. Not bad for a little less than a tenner.

More than two hours? I agree fully.

For an hour - nah.

It's worth it if you want to get on and off first and if flight is more than an hour. Now with express boarding they do not allow the elderly and children first! When we went to kuala Lumpur last week this was the case coming and going. In BKK they give you a sticker and in Malaysia they call your names as it is computerized. Children and elderly are boarded after the express boarders. We did it and felt it was worth it as going the flight was packed but on the return maybe only 1/2 full.
