In the past I used to just make the visa run @ the end of my 60 day TR. Now, with things as they are I wish to extend. I had read that this is straightforward here in Pattaya.

My question is that if my visa expires on the 15th and I go to renew on the ??? 12th will they renew from that day onward or from the 15th?

I want to make certain if I'm hassled I can get a seat on a visa run and then make plans the next month for departing Thailand.

Immigration is on Soi 5 Jomtien -correct? Bus over the hill, down a ways and walk up the soi.

Need I wear long pants?

Extension will start from end of current permitted to stay stamp so should be done early. Pants and shirt would be good. I don't believe longer shorts would be a problem but I would wear long pants.

Long versus short is not the issue.

Style is not the issue.

However, appearance/presentation is simple really !
