Looking for a faster way to get around Bangkok. You're out of luck if the skytrain or subway is not nearby. Is there information available about the canal transportation system? Is there a website that shows the canal layout, station locations, fares, and hours of operation?

there are no boats on canals, with the ecception of khlong saen sep running from Banglampoo Wat Seket/Golden Mount which runs along up to thanon sukhumvit and up to khlong tan area (as I believe - but never ventured that far)

I enjoyed riding that.. Dirt cheap.. Was about 12 baht from Golden Mount to Nana, but only runs during the day. And it helps to be agile.
