I was eating at P Pizza on Yaowarat Road after that time and was wondering why about 10 emergency vehicles were blazing past towards the Tesco intersection at short intervals, even driving at dangerous speeds that could have killed people on the road in the pouring rain. Unfortunately, I saw only one ambulance come back in the other direction and that was over a 2 hour period. Doesn't look good.
