Near Soi 10 and the endless parade of hungry vendors kept passing by. Then it happened. A guy wades by with three floating containers connected by planks and a box shaped basket. Even as he got his net out and did a balacing act on the planks, not much to look at. Maybe he is going to give us a hard luck story about NO FISH. BUT TO OUR SURPRISE HE CAST A TRADITONAL NET OUT AND MADE A BIG HAUL. About 30 small fish which he handled by himself into the basket except 3 that he sold to some Thai gals. At this time he got the attention of the local jet ski opperators. The Jet ski guys seem to shew him away. The operators then got a big net out and made a large sweep with the jet ski and three Thais doing the work. To everyones amazement they caught NO FISH. The skilled fisherman had left the area looking for the teltale sign of a school of fish. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
