I am sure you get this type of question every day but I am still confused.!!!!!

I am a South African who can get a 30 visa on entry for holiday purposes.

I wish to open a business in Thailand after the holiday to decide on Pattaya or Phuket.

Should I use the 30 day visa or apply for another typr of visa first off.

Anybody.............PLEASE HELP.

NO. I am currently in Viet Nam but hope to be in BKK on 16th of Aug 2004 and move to Phuket and Pattaya from there.

You could try getting a business visa in Hanoi, but it mightn't be too easy to get there.

Other than that you can come and have a look around, and go and obtain an appropriate visa in Penang when your plans are clearer.
