Visa Options For A Job Interview

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm trying to decide which is the best way foreward for a visa and have read a lot about various visas but really dont quite grasp which I should apply for.

A couple of questions.

I have some work possible and will/want to go for an interview and sort out accomodation etc for around 2 weeks then return home to finalize things should it all go well.

At the moment I have a 2 entry 60 day tourist visa which I have used the 60 days plus had a 30 day ext. I used about 14 days of the extension. Now back home.

If I were to return on the second entry I would only have approx 15 days?

And if needed would have to do a boarder run? for a?

Should I get the work what would I need to do?

Any advice or ideas?

Thanks

If you return before the visa expires you will receive another 60 day permitted to stay stamp and be allowed to extend again. But you can not work or obtain a work permit on a tourist visa so if you are successful you will have to change that anyhow. It is not a major problem if you find employment as they will provide the documentation to obtain a non immigrant visa.
