I am worried about linking to this site from here, the copywrite, the site has links to downloadable music/movies. Anyone with copywrite legal knowledge here? Please advise.

I can only tell you how it works here in Sweden where I live.

It is legal to download music or movies with the application on my site. But it’s not legal to let people download from you.

I know I seems a bit strange.. But like I always say: If you like it, buy it!

It is country dependant. However, as (a) the post is not yours - i.e. you are not specifiaclly placing a link to illegal content and ( you remark that it has illegal content and therefore it could be argued that you are telling potential visitors that they may be in breach of their county's laws if they download anything they do not have the right to; I thnik you would be OK. You may want to post a message of sort of disclaimer - i.e. that it is not your site, you take no responsability etc etc, or simply remove the thread if you are worried.

I haven't visited, but if its a pay site, don't forget to get your cut!
