libya 115
If this post helps just a few people, it shall be worth it: For those persons departing from Doha International Airport in Qatar, please be aware that there is no currency exchange booths or banks within the departure building. If you have a fist full of Qatari Riyals; then you will be stuck with them; or else can spend them in the duty-free. Change your money in Qatar high street banks before leaving the country. You guessed it; I got stuck with US$ 2000 worth of Qatari currency. The only consolation is that there is one ATM machine in the departures hall that will offer US$ or EURO's. WOW Libya what did you buy with the $2000 I was fortunate, I was returning to Qatar, so kept hold of the Qatari Riyals. Incidentally a very poor exchange rate is offered for Qatari Riyals (outside) of Qatar. In Thailand a preposterous exchange rate is offered at BKK airport for Middle East currencies.
