funlovinkid
Hi gang, I've been living in Thailand for about a year now (loving it, by the way), and currently have a health insurance policy that is up for annual renewal. I'm considering other options for health insurance, which I never really did when first arriving, and thought I'd fish around for opinions and recommendations here. I'm American, 51, in good health. Any suggestions? Many thanks!

Flow
I think health insurance is pertty crap in Thailand. bupa or whatever, they're pretty much the same. I got hospitalised for a day, got 60% back from the insurance company.Tthen a month later got hospitalised again for the same problem, also one day. Got back next to nothing. When I inquired about it I was told that if you get hospitalised for the same thing again within a 3-month period then we can';t help. If it's for somethng else fine we can hlep you with whatever percentage the coverage permits, but for the same problem = nope.
