I have noticed many of you are here for a long time. There seems to be a trend in the forum to look back, so why not have a nostalgia thread?

How was it when you first came?

I remember there was this phase when the Isaan-song 'I Veung' was played all over. Shortly after that we had period with Indonesian songs. Anybody remembers 'Si Jantung Hati'? I still have it in my ears.

Or when the first 'Wai Wai' noodles came out? What a revolution! Everybody had them and ate them.

What are your favoured memories?

First came to Thailand or to ThaiVisa?

Well, Thailand of course. Mee Wai Wai was waaaayyyyyyy before Thai Visa. Oooops. Don't tell me the thread is going to be closed?????

Well, I came to Thailand in 1988. Lived on my little island the whole time so couldn't really say when Wai Wai noodles came out, or even what they are really. I guess they didn't hit the radar here. Well, most trends didn't hit the radar here until the past few years, to be honest
