I could move back to the USA, but every time I stop to think about it, I come to pretty much the same conclusion. There's not much I can do there that I can't do here, other than to hop in my car and take a long road trip on roads I'm comfortable with. That, and good Mexican food. Most of my good friends are now dead, and although I still have some family members scattered about, those are people I never talk to except maybe once every twenty years. Going back would mean higher housing costs and higher food costs, for sure, in addition to insurance costs and other miscellaneous expenses that aren't really cheap.
