Pattaya police nab Singaporean for selling drugs to tourists

PATTAYA: – Undercover police officers in the popular seaside resort of Pattaya today arrested a Singaporean man accused of selling the ecstasy drug to tourists.

Mr. Sui Ku Heng was arrested by drug enforcement officers posing as customers in front of a karaoke bar in the early hours of this morning.

His arrest follows the capture by police of several of his customers.

Although Mr. Sui tried to evade arrest by offering a Bt80,000 bribe to police officers, they refused to be swayed, an added charges of bribery to charges of the possession of drugs with intent to sell.

Kinda backs up what I've been saying about Thaksin's hardcore anti-drug guys being more concerned with the crime than "other considerations". Times are changing. There's a new breed of cop in Thailand!

Nah, just means that a competitor paid the cops more than 80,000 to have him nicked.

If this Singaporean were to be caught in Singapore or Malaysia......

and if found guilty, the death penalty is mandatory.

No wonder, he played safe by doing his illegal trade in Los.

He knows that staying in the notorious Hilton is far better than going to the gallows.
