tw25rw
UmmmTheres no Majestic Suites on your site Only the Grande Was there a couple of weeks ago because I stayed there. There's no great risk with either site. Paying in advance to a booking company is cheaper than paying the hotel directly.
Knakpattra
Ill just use the main site, lets see how that goes After that is done, a good tip about the best bar in NEP, the one i should walk in right away would be nice edit: Done! The form has been sent, guess its a matter of room availability now I hope the reply comes soon, cuz i require some time to look around for sumthin else in case its full Edited October 23, 2007 by Knakpattra

Gary A
The Nana is frequently full so I try the Dynasty. If that is also full, I walk a couple hundred meters further down the Soi to the Nana City Inn. The last time I stayed there it was 900 baht a night. Nothing fancy but just fine for me. It is about two hundred meters down from Nana on the opposite side of the Soi.

In normal life, i work hard ( really) and these few days are to relax (at night) and do my business Every business u should approach with some kind of ease, in order to get the best out of it. As for Nana P, i will be by myself (wouldnt it be strange to sit there all by myself? looks kinda desperate, dont u think?) and obviously i aint gonna rush I should have a taste of it all: sit, drink and relax However, relaxing between shaking bodies is kinda new to me, so i guess i need to get used to it the first 30 mins Mandarin is noted I have read good review about Rainbow 1 and 4 as well Guess i have to bring a dice and choose by gamble and faith

You won't be alone long. No one goes in there to talk to other men. Buy a basket of ping pong balls and a bottle of cheap whiskey and you'll have loads of new friends. I like the G-Spot as well, but the music there is grating. Edited October 23, 2007 by tw25rw

Is grande very far frm the action or is it quite alright? on the map its looks like it is located down Soi 4 and the first street on the left, but you say Soi 2, that sounds like walking alot EDIT: I see, Soi2 is first street on the left Other options i found: Nana City Inn Orchid Inn Swan Inn Raya Hotel im such a n00b haha Edited October 24, 2007 by Knakpattra

It's really nice and completely gf.. On my last night in Jan, I took 3 giggling bar girls back at about 3am and no one batted an eyelid. It's opposite Annie's massage and via that carpark is the best way to get to NEP..
tsocr
I stay at the grand. As said in the previous posts it is more expensive then the others. It has a great breakfast that comes with the room and is just 1 block away from NEP. Have your first drink at the Meeting Place Bar. A small outside bar across from Annie's Do Do Bar and pool. You will not feel strange sitting their by yourself and it is a good place just to get in the grove before all the madness of NEP. Enjoy

You really should just go in and walk around the bars until you find one that suits. No point trying to plan to much because it won't work like that. Incidentally, the Dynasty Grande is conveniently close to Lolitas.
Knakpattra
And lolita's is? i guess outside NEP? I agree, planning is bad, i just have to let the wind take me whever it blows Still, im sure there are preferences, places that are better than the other which is publicly known by people who went there already quite a few times Mr TW25RW, which one would u go to if you enter NEP ? Lolitas is a special bar, but really, this whole thread is pushing it a bit too far by Thaivisa standards.. Better suited to Thai360. I usually drop into G-Spot because I know so many girls there, but the fact I end up buying them (and mamasan) drinks means I usually move on to Mandarin. Had good nights in there. cobra
If you like People watching then may I suggest the Grace, plenty of interesting sights there. Your kidding right,Better bring a pray matt, this property (and area) caters primarily to Middle Easterners, and not a good place to be after dark. A better alternative is the Omni, down Soi 4, (other side of Suk), still within walking distance of NP,

A better alternative is the Omni, down Soi 4, (other side of Suk), still within walking distance of NP, I agree its not the best place to people watch but as for not being a good place to be after dark?? I would not hang out there but I stayed 30+ times in the Bel Aire in soi 5 and walked all around there any time late at night and never felt threatened. The ex used to be letched at for her large chest by Thai standards but that was the worst except for two Africans once commenting on the fact white boy had two friends!
