If it’s a sole proprietorship, she just needs to employ 2 Thai employees. Our professional fee is 6,500 Baht and the government fee is 3,100 Baht for the pne year wp.

Your income could be around 15- 20K per month. Of course higher if you would like.

just out of interest. what is the company/business requirements for a thai to employ a farang?

When an application is made for a Work Permit, the employer must outline the activities to be performed by the foreigner and the reasons why a Thai person cannot be employed to do the job.

The are also a number of jobs that a foreigner cannot perform in Thailand, such as Architect, Civil Engineer, Tour Guide, Thai Silk Weaver, Shop Front Sales, Land Trading amonst about 15 others. Obviously the company cannot employ foreigners to undertake protected jobs.

The original question was not only for work permit but also to register...

To register a partnership? A Thai limited company and having a work permit under that?

There are several options, tax benefits to consider and rules won't be the same depending on the option you choose.

Your question is extremely broad and impossible to answer with out a few more pieces of information.

Do you mean for a sole partnership, a limited partnership or a limited company?

It also depands on whether you want to do border runs or extend a current non immigrant visa and on what basis you do it. It further depends on your family circumstances and your nationality.

You say the money is from coming from outside Thailand through export activities. Any assements made, would be on visible Thai income, taxes paid, audited accounts etc.
