Non O Immigrant Visa (based On Marriage)

If one gets married and applies for said visa, does the 40K THB per month combined income have to be taxable income within Thailand? I will be getting my income from Singapore and my wife to be earns less than a taxable salary per month in Bangkok. I understand we need to provide 40K THB per month for at least 3 months to apply for Non O, but we will not be paying any tax to Thailand! Is the Non O reliant on Tax paid? I dont understand this too well, anyone with any experience?

Money earned in Thailand must be proven by Thai tax payment receipts. Money from outside by Embassy paperwork.
