I recieved a 90 day tourist visa in the u.s. that will be up on dec.11th. My intention was to go to bkk early october. Well, i ended up not making my flight (work, what are you gonna do....) Now, it appears I will have a month (dec 1st thru jan 1st) to go to thailand. I will be flying from the usa. I will spend 28 days there. Will i be granted a visa to stay for up to 30 days on arrival? If this won't work....is there a way for me to go to thailand for the month?? I am open to one-way ticket to bkk, then depart from another country to return to the usa, if this is possible.

Thanks in advance for helping me.

It is not clear if you plan to arrive on December 1 or between December 1 and January 1 but if you arrive before the 11th you can use your present visa (which is 60 days) and be provided a 60 day permitted to stay stamp. If after December 11th you will receive a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp (but need to have return ticket within that time period). Airlines are not likely to allow you boarding without a return ticket after December 11. But is would appear you can meet the return ticket requirement so will not have any problem.
