Can You Get A Multi Non Imm "o" In Penang Or Nearby If You Have A Thai Child And Are Not Married ?

Featured Replies

If you are in the UK and they really wanted some proof of why you were going to Thailand and wanted a non imm visa, they you could use your Thai child.

Does anyone know whether this is a valid reason in itself, without marriage to the mother but you registered as the father, to obtain a multi non imm visa in Penang or near Thailand ?

The multi entry would be up to the Consulate but a single entry would normally be issued for that reason.

But a single entry is just the same as a TV day count wise (90=60+30).

As there is no double entry non immigrant visa, surely making an excuse to have a few short trips outside Thailand would suffice.

That said, I do not understand why they would not give you a multiple entry one when you might wish to stay 6 months.

It will be interesting to see whether someone has been down this route.

They changed the visa rules last year.
