Guys I'm going to KL tomorrow evening until Saturday evening, thinking that was plenty of time (two working days) to get a new TV. ONly just realised that they have that holiday on Thurs and the Thai embassy is closed.

Does anyone know if its at all possible to obtain a visa in one day there?

Not normally I suspect but Consulates have been known to make exceptions when a holiday is involved so would not say positively no.

Obviously wort a shot if you're there already, but when I had the same problem some months ago, my request

was politly denied.

Next to no chance I reckon.
