Problems With American Express Thailand?

Featured Replies

Hello.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had any problems dealing with American Express Thailand? Particularly, if anyone has been able to resolve them successfully or can recommend any avenues for complaints. The misinformation and lack of service I've received has been 'amazing'...it's like butting my head against a brick wall! Just today, in my most recent email from them, they told me that the customer service representative I've been dealing with over the past two or three months 'hasn't worked for Amex for many years'! That is, their customer service reps use fake identities and email addresses when dealing with customers...but I won't bore you with the details.

If you have something to share, I'd like to hear from you.

I've used AMEX in Thailand many times and never had a problem... This may be a silly question but have you tried visiting their office in BKK ?

Britmaverick, no, it's not a fraud case...but I won't bore the board readers with the story. Thanks, Falong, for the email address.

It is Thai American Express so what do you expect?

They have never been as good as the real thing.

Good luck with your problem.
