Suvarnabhuni To Don Muang @ 8pm

hey guys,hope you can advise me

how long would it take in a taxi from airport to airport

8pm on a sunday night(23rd dec)

with it being election day,are the roads likely to be even quieter.

problem i have is - land suvarnbhuni 6 40pm

thai airways at don muang is 9 30pm (this is the last flight),

and last flight from suvarnabhuni is air asia at 8 40pm

im thinking if i can can get off the plane,imm,bags etc in 1hour 15mins or so,maybe i can do it.

do i have a chance?

If you go expressway the whole way, I'd allow for an hour. It might not take this long... maybe only 45-50 mins, but I'd figure on 60 mins to give yourself some leeway.

Let's assume the plane is on time.

Exit plane 6:40

Through immigration 7:05

Retrieve bag and through customs 7:25

In taxi 7:30

Arrive Don Meuang 8:20

Check-in 8:25

Just done it.

thanks briggsy,thats interesting.

i think what i will have to do is play it by ear.if i get my bags by 7 30pm ish,will either get a taxi to dm or go upstairs to try get a ticket for air asia 840pm as check in is 40 mins before flight (8pm) if its late,will just go to a counter and get them to sort me a nearby hotel for the night
