Does anyone know if there is any gay life in Cha am?

I don't know. I lived in south Hua Hin for a year, and never heard of gay venues there. But I am sure there is a gay person in every village in Thailand, from Nakhon Fukan to Nakhon Anh Heavensdoor.

i dont think you will find any...have to go to Hua Hin......you wont be the only gay in the village by any means....maybe you could open the first distinguished establishment in Cha-am....

Seriously though, no there isn't. I'm only a little suprised about Hua Hin not having any. I did hear of quite a well known lesbian club in Phet'buri, so perhaps there ? But if there is, it'd almost certainly be Thai orientated. Still, Cha-Am really isn't that far from Bangkok.

I lived in Hua Hin for a year, and there is definitely some gay life there. However, I suspect most of it is pay for play. I never heard of a particularly 'gay bar' but I surely could have overlooked a gay disco.

Actually there are 5 gay bars that I know of in Hua Hin:-

Bar Doi Boy

Indian Bar

Man Suana Bar

Thong something??

Roughly the correct names, it's been a year since I was last there.

Two have boy cabaret shows and two do massage.

Still haven't heard of one in Cha am though - anyone????
