Hi, I was hoping oe of you knowledgable visa gurus can help a friend. My friend has a non O multiple entry visa from the UK. He has been told that he can get another one in Penang as he has already had one. If you have had one already they will give you another? I havent a clue. He doesnt want to go all the way there to be told he cant get one there. All help appreciated guys ( and girls, must try harder to be more PC ) and thanks in advance

If married to a Thai he can likely obtain in Penang - if just issued by UK consulate for general visiting he will not obtain from Penang

Cheers Lopburi, he is not married to a Thai and the visa was issued in th UK at Hull. Where is the nearest place to get another? or is it back to the UK for a flying visit? Cheers again Dunc

I suspect a return to Hull is his best choice.

Perth may be a possibility and it is a shorter flight.

Just because you got one, doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get another (especially if not married). I would try Brisbane, Perth or Hull for a MULTI entry Non O.

Cheers all for the replies. Mate is going to try for a tourist visa in Penang to take him till Feb then head back to the UK ad get another O. I might even take him down there on the Rocket. Should make a nice trip?
