Japanese Cooking Sake

Featured Replies

In the various supermarkets around BKK it used to be easy to buy Japanese Cooking Sake - it was with all the other specialty Japanese products (soy, mirin, tonkatsu sauce, etc). However for some reason it's now unavailable everywhere - Tops, Gourmet Market in both Emporium and Paragon, Villa, Central Food Hall.... its gone! Today I even tried the specialty Japanese supermarket at the top of Isetan - it's not there either! There are plenty of "drinking" sakes available but the cooking varieties can't be found.

Does anyone have any idea

1) why?

2) where to find some?

2) has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!

Have you checked at Fuji Market in soi 33/1? Its where all the Japanese in the Sukhumvit area go to. If they don't have it, nobody will.
