Betfair Access Blocked

I note that The Communication Authority of Thailand have now blocked access to Betfair.

This is no doubt because gambling is illegal in Thailand and this measure will stop any Thai from throwing away money. No doubt the sale of playing cards is also being stopped.

So if anyone was considering making any money on Betfair by trading and living off the proceeds in Thailand then think again.

this should not be done from within Thailand but there are ways to circumvent this if required

I wondered when they would get around to this. They blocked many other betting sites 5 years ago. Suppose they were waiting for or negotiating the bung from the very rich operators of the illegal football betting rings here.
