I am an 18 year old canadian, Me and my father are going to spend dec10-jan8 in Thailand. Tickets are paid for, hotels and other expenses are going to be covered by my dad.

We have no plans of doing any typical "tourist" stuff like chartered boats and such... we could have stayed at home to hang out with other white people. That being said

I was wondering if 1000CAD would be enough money for myself to spend. I like to eat and like to shop but I know my limit. Im sure it will be fine, if I can stretch 1000 here why couldn't I in Thailand. Just wanted to know what some of you thought, or could tell me something you think I should know.

Thanks a lot.

Plenty, unless you're intending to wine and dine and booze all night.

Welcome to Thailand!
