Can Someone Help Me Identify A Thai Song?

Featured Replies

i heard it while in thailand.

one of its chorus is like 'pai tail pai ter, pai wat chang hai'... if translated to english i think it probably means go on a trip, go to the temple of chang hai...

so can someone tell me what is the title of this song n the artise? and if possible, where can i heard this song online? (eg. some thai video streaming website or youtube?)

Male or female singer?

And there is a lot of Thai karaoke videos on you tube, try and search for those words. I can't even get in to the youtube page so cant help

Mr Missus says it may be called El Chaing Rai.

Sorry I cant be more presice

I've found references to the text in Thai in a few places, but not a link to a song or artist. To me it sounds like some sort of tourism slogan song.

The text is in Northern Thai and translated would be something like you said, but not quite:

Let's go on a trip, let's go to Chiang Rai province

(It's not 'wát' [temple] but 'jangwàd' [province], and 'Chiang Rai' in the song is pronounced Jiang Haai as it is in Northern Thai)

Here's what it looks like in Thai in case somebody has the energy to do more googling:

ไปไปเตอะไปเที่ยว ไปเตอะ ไปแอ่ว จังหวัดเจียงฮาย
