Do I Need Return Tickets For Visa's In Cambodia, Vietnam, Phillipines, Malaysia, And China?

With a Canadian passport would I have any problems entering the above countries without a return ticket? Going to try to travel from one to another spontaneously.

Also, is it safe to cross the borders with an expensive laptop and camera or should i leave them in Bangkok?

Cambodia - No

Vietnam - Visa Required

phillipines - Yes

Malaysia - No

China - Visa required (but some exceptions for short trips close to borders)
