has anyone done a visa run from chong mek? any advice? what was it like?

I've seen chong-mek on my wall map about 100km or so East of Ubon

but I don't recall any recent reports about it. If you can currently get

a Lao visa on arrival, what the status is, not really anything?

If you make it back alive there should be a shoulder-patch or some kind

of framable wall-certificate in that for you? Whose in charge of that anyway? :o
