If you're using Melatonin to sleep, recent studies suggest it only helps if you pituitary gland is not producing enough naturally.

But if you feel Melatonin helps you, then it's probably OK to keep taking it.

Am sure my pituitary is fine as I generally sleep well, but the melatonin definitely helps me sleep longer and deeper, with really, really intense dreams. I take it more for fun than out of necessity. First few nights on it there was a very noticeable waking dream state, but after a few nights it just seemed to assist sleep. The Melatonin Plus product also contains some L-Theanine which may also be contributing to the effects.

Always enjoy dabbling with meds in moderation, human psychopharmacology is a fascinating thing.
