TonyLeung
I tried calling but of course only got an answering machine. The website says 10 business days plus mailing time but I think it came rather quickly last time. Any idea? My flight is for Jan 12 and I am not sure if I will make it with the holidays. Jingthing
You need to call the consulate and arrange expedited shipping like Fedex. I think you don't have enough time otherwise. If Miami can't deal with that, call the embassy in DC, I think they can. In the worse case you can enter on 30 day and go to Penang for tourist visa (depending on how long you plan to stay). If you do that you need to have a ticket out of Thailand to Penang within 30 days. Good luck, fellow procrastinator. TonyLeung
Well it says you can provide $17 for next day shipping, but I don't know if they are working on Dec 24 and Dec 1, and even if these aren't official holidays that might just be sitting around the office not doing anything. TonyLeung
wow, just got through and its only 3-5 day if you are a florida resident. they also offer non immigrant O visa only I was such a RETARD to post on Thai Visa and trust the advice I got back that they dont so i didnt bring the marriage certificate. Lesson Learned: Thai Visa is completely incompetent and useless, don't trust anything you read here. Edited December 20, 2007 by TonyLeung
Fred Sanford
that's rather harsh I would say. take some responsibility for your own incompetence
Jingthing
It is always best to contact the actual consulate or embassy your are dealing with. Duh.
