Featured Replies

Can someone tell me whether the yacht Wado Ryu still in Thailand? 2006, it was aborted by the Anchorage and again found. Where is it now? Who is on the move?

Thanks for all the replies.

I believe the OP is talking about a missing yacht. I found this:

In the fourth case, the German-

registered SY Wado Ryuwas “hijacked while at anchor …

and later found drifting.”

Although the details of the incident involving the

SY Wado Ryu are not available, it seems odd that a vessel

would be hijacked and then (apparently) abandoned by pirates. Presumably the vessel itself was the booty and

giving it up without a fight just doesn’t add up. The

principle of parsimony compels us to consider another,

more likely, alternative: maybe SY Wado Ryu simply

dragged anchor or snapped her rode.

Thank you piracy, yes, this is the yacht which I mean. Is it still in the harbor? Whom can I ask? Berz

If I was you I'd call the directors at Yacht Haven or Boat Lagoon on Phuket, alternatively call The Lighthouse Bar at Chalong - they will help you :o
