Great to see, that when other countries have some medievil legislation , there are those , who'll try to change it , and i'm sure with those efforts it WILL be improved much faster, than here >> Btw. spouses of Taiwanese are already getting their PRs almost automatically ,this is why they feel free to protest & demand better treatment >> after all this IS HOW democracy works .. & last time i've checked Thailand was 'aspiring' to be one

If I remember correctly, if a Taiwanese male marries a non-Taiwanese, the forieng female spouse is granted PR status without any issues.

Actually that IS thai law!> in Taiwan the law applies equially to male & female brides !! Both can get PR !> that what gives them guts to organise protests . Also since you can't find wife in Taiwan, after a night out in the bar , there's no issues about 'protectin assets'
