I retired in the UK Oct 2006 and came to live in Thailand in the same month, before i left the UK i applied for a tax return, i had a letter last April time [to my thai address] aknowledging that i have retired ect but still no payment has been made to my UK bank of which the tax office has the details, so does anybody have any idea how long this return process normally takes, Thanks, Lickey..

If you Google the UK government on income tax you can go online and get it sorted.

Try www.hmrc.gov.uk and see if that works.

I am retired but get a couple of pensions and I do my Self Assessment tax on line. :o
