January 3, 200818 yr My apologies to the forum for violating the rules. Very noble of the moderators, by the way, considering where we live. Anyway, here is my problem. I, like others am married to a thai woman who doesn't understand a lick of english. My spoken thai is excellent, but watching thai tv can be quite frustrating. I am basically looking for a way to recieve more programming that is subtitled (in either language). One member (StrongView) mentioned a fta option. Now, I am not 100% sure, but, I don't think strata would appreciate me hanging a dish, albeit small, on a balcony of a Sukhumvit apartment. Also, Strongview, if you have gone this route (jsat.tv), would I be able to pick up programming with thai subtitles (ie.truetv)? If anyone has been in a similar situation, I would really appreciate to hear what your final move was. Thanks, JL
January 3, 200818 yr Give a call to JSAT.tv. They can answer all of your questions. They have condo solutions and will do a site survey to tell you what they can do for you. Talk to Anne or John (or email them). UBCtv, you'll pay for like everyone else.
