Featured Replies

Greetings all you visa GURU'S I have a student just finished his advanced course who was due to do a visa run today. He wont get there now till tomorrow. So a couple of quick questions?? Is the first day overstay free???? and can he do the Andaman club route with the one day overstay or will he have to go to Ranong Immigration. Cheers in advance guys :o

One day isn't free, but you don't get into trouble with immigration. You just pay the fine.

ifyou are overstay you need to go to immigration in ranong. club andaman dont do overstays.

Hi

the 1. overstay is free only at the airport in BKK, everywhere else you have to pay 500 Baht. I don't know about the Andaman club route :o

cheers ham

While we're on the subject of Ranong, can you do the Andaman Club visa run on your own, or do you have to go thru a tour company?

Big A, how goes it? You can just rock up to the Andaman pier and pay your money and go. It costs 850 baht for the trip which includes the 10 dollars for the Myanmar entry. You get to spend an hour at the club the back to the pier. Play the tables or slots or grab a meal. Its a really nice place they have there. Me and Mrs H2o are going to stay a couple of nights the next time we have to nip out of the country. Cheers :o

Thanks, Dunc. I actually did it a few months ago with Fame Tours from Chumphon when down at father in law's funeral in November. Decently priced at B1,100 all in (Chump - Andaman - Chump incl Burmese visa) but was wondering if it could be done as an individual in my own car. Now I know it can.

All the best for the new year
