Does Applying For A 30 Day Extension On A Tourist Visa Normally Cause Problems?

I am on my first tourist visa and was wondering when I apply for an extension at Phuket immigration should I prepare for it not to be granted??

Normally just a rubber stamp job. They want your Bt1900.

How many offices ask to see a ticket? I've only heard of it at the Jomtien office.

Difficult to say. One can never tell what an immigration office may do tomorrow. Regarding recent reports, Phuket was mentioned here.

Any extension is only UP to 30 days. The decision is up to the Immigration Officer.
